Dr. Bill Dougherty is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has passed the National Certified Psychologist Professional Practice Examination.

Providing counseling and biofeedback services to children, teens, and adults for over thirty years.  Office visits are by appointment only.

My private practice office is located at 301 W. Grove Street in the West Grove Street Professional Plaza, 2nd Building/Upper Level, Clarks Summit, PA 18411  Office Hours:  Monday through Friday 9 am to 7 pm.  Saturday from  8 am to 2 pm.  

         A private office entrance is available & plenty of off-street parking.

A native of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Dr. Dougherty attended undergraduate school at Pennsylvania State University and State University of New York, receiving a B.S. in Human Services.   He received an M.A. and Psy.D. in Counseling Psychology from California Coast University. Additional training was provided at Wyoming Valley Pain and Rehabilitation Center, Plains, Pennsylvania under the direction of Emanuel Jacob, MD., and is trained in biofeedback applications utilizing auditory visual facilitated modulation..

Dr. Dougherty's experience includes employment with Wyoming Valley Alcohol and Drug Services as a Board Certified Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist for nearly ten years; and was a psychological consultant for Northeast Charter School and NEIU 19 Alternative Learning Center for over a decade.  Currently, Dr. Dougherty is in full-time private practice.
